Wide Flat Aluminium Control Knob with Finger Recess
Wide Flat Aluminium Control Knob with Finger Recess
This distinctive control knob features a wide, flat profile with a substantial circular concave recess positioned centrally on its top surface. The deep finger recess allows for precise single-finger control and quick positioning adjustments. The knob's circumference is enhanced with numerous fine ridges that provide excellent grip and tactile feedback during operation.
The smooth aluminium top surface contrasts beautifully with the textured grip area, making this knob particularly well-suited for applications requiring frequent adjustments such as audio equipment, test instruments, and control panels where both precision and speed are essential. Its low-profile design makes it ideal for installations where space is at a premium whilst still providing excellent control authority.

Hole Type

Round Hole
A knob designed for a round shaft has a smooth, cylindrical hole that matches the shaft's shape. This type of hole allows the knob to slide easily onto the shaft, relying on a grub screw / set screw or friction to keep it in place. This design is widely used in audio equipment, consumer electronics, and control panels due to its simplicity and versatility
A knob with a round hole can typically also be used on a D type shaft in the 180° position (where the position indicator is opposite to the flat of the D) and can often also be mouned to splined shafts in low torque applications.
