Ridged Cylindrical Control Knob with White Position Indicator
Ridged Cylindrical Control Knob with White Position Indicator
This cylindrical control knob features a black body with prominent ridges around its circumference that provide excellent grip and tactile feedback. The knob is topped with a distinctive white position indicator line that clearly shows the current setting against the black surface.
The knob's ridged grip surface makes it ideal for applications requiring precise control and reliable operation, such as audio equipment, test instruments, and control panels. The raised ridges ensure secure finger placement even in challenging conditions, whilst the compact cylindrical design fits well in dense control layouts. The secure grub screw fixing ensures reliable attachment to round shafts.

Hole Type

Round Hole
A knob designed for a round shaft has a smooth, cylindrical hole that matches the shaft's shape. This type of hole allows the knob to slide easily onto the shaft, relying on a grub screw / set screw or friction to keep it in place. This design is widely used in audio equipment, consumer electronics, and control panels due to its simplicity and versatility
A knob with a round hole can typically also be used on a D type shaft in the 180° position (where the position indicator is opposite to the flat of the D) and can often also be mouned to splined shafts in low torque applications.
