Tapered Fluted Control Knob with Position Line
Tapered Fluted Control Knob with Position Line
This control knob features a distinctive tapered cylindrical form with vertical fluted ridges that extend down the sides, stopping short of the base to create a clean transition. The fluted texture provides enhanced grip whilst the smooth glossy surface delivers a premium tactile experience during operation.
A white or black position indicator line is clearly marked on the top surface, offering precise visual reference for control positioning. The knob's compact tapered profile and partial fluting make it particularly suitable for guitar effects pedals and compact audio equipment where space efficiency and reliable grip are essential, whilst the clean base section allows for flush mounting against control panels.

Hole Type

Round Hole
A knob designed for a round shaft has a smooth, cylindrical hole that matches the shaft's shape. This type of hole allows the knob to slide easily onto the shaft, relying on a grub screw / set screw or friction to keep it in place. This design is widely used in audio equipment, consumer electronics, and control panels due to its simplicity and versatility
A knob with a round hole can typically also be used on a D type shaft in the 180° position (where the position indicator is opposite to the flat of the D) and can often also be mouned to splined shafts in low torque applications.
