Seven-Sided Skirted Control Knob
Seven-Sided Skirted Control Knob
This distinctive control knob features seven gently concave facets around its circumference, creating an elegant geometric profile that provides excellent grip and visual appeal. The knob's substantial skirted base adds stability and presence, whilst the contrasting position indicator on the top surface ensures precise control adjustment.
The knob's seven-sided design offers superior tactile feedback compared to traditional round knobs, making it particularly well-suited for guitar amplifiers, effects pedals, and audio mixing equipment where precise control is essential. The generous skirt diameter provides a comfortable grip surface, whilst the internal fixing mechanism ensures secure attachment to control shafts.

Hole Type

Round Hole
A knob designed for a round shaft has a smooth, cylindrical hole that matches the shaft's shape. This type of hole allows the knob to slide easily onto the shaft, relying on a grub screw / set screw or friction to keep it in place. This design is widely used in audio equipment, consumer electronics, and control panels due to its simplicity and versatility
A knob with a round hole can typically also be used on a D type shaft in the 180° position (where the position indicator is opposite to the flat of the D) and can often also be mouned to splined shafts in low torque applications.
