Coloured Cap Control Knob with Triangular Pointer
Coloured Cap Control Knob with Triangular Pointer
This distinctive control knob features a vibrant coloured end cap that sits atop a sleek black cylindrical body. The knob's most striking characteristic is its prominent triangular pointer that extends from the base, providing clear visual indication of the control position. A subtle concave groove runs around the entire circumference of the body, creating an ergonomic grip surface that enhances tactile feedback during operation.
The top surface displays a crisp white position indicator line that works in conjunction with the base-mounted triangular pointer to offer dual visual reference points. This dual indication system makes the knob particularly well-suited for precision applications where accurate position feedback is essential, such as audio mixing consoles, laboratory equipment, and professional control panels where operators need immediate visual confirmation of settings.

Hole Type

Round Hole
A knob designed for a round shaft has a smooth, cylindrical hole that matches the shaft's shape. This type of hole allows the knob to slide easily onto the shaft, relying on a grub screw / set screw or friction to keep it in place. This design is widely used in audio equipment, consumer electronics, and control panels due to its simplicity and versatility
A knob with a round hole can typically also be used on a D type shaft in the 180° position (where the position indicator is opposite to the flat of the D) and can often also be mouned to splined shafts in low torque applications.
