Marshall Style Amplifier Control Knob with Metal Cap

Marshall Style Amplifier Control Knob with Metal Cap

This distinctive control knob features the classic Marshall amplifier styling with a prominent metal cap that extends around the upper portion of the knob body. The knob has a black body with a curved taper towards the top, creating the iconic silhouette associated with Marshall amplifiers. The metal cap is available in gold, silver, or black finishes, providing a striking contrast against the black body.

The knob features vertical ridges around its circumference for enhanced grip when adjusting controls, whilst a clear position indicator line on the top surface shows the current setting. The robust construction includes a strong internal insert for secure shaft mounting, making it ideal for guitar amplifiers, audio equipment, and other applications where the distinctive Marshall aesthetic is desired.

Hole Type

Round Hole

A knob designed for a round shaft has a smooth, cylindrical hole that matches the shaft's shape. This type of hole allows the knob to slide easily onto the shaft, relying on a grub screw / set screw or friction to keep it in place. This design is widely used in audio equipment, consumer electronics, and control panels due to its simplicity and versatility

A knob with a round hole can typically also be used on a D type shaft in the 180° position (where the position indicator is opposite to the flat of the D) and can often also be mouned to splined shafts in low torque applications.
