Large 7-Sided Fluted Black MF-B Guitar / Pedal Control Knob
Large 7-Sided Fluted Black MF-B Guitar / Pedal Control Knob
This distinctive control knob features seven pronounced fluted ridges that run vertically along its circumference, creating an exceptional grip surface for precise adjustments. The knob's substantial construction combines a rounded cylindrical body with a gently domed top surface, whilst a generous circular skirt extends from the base to provide additional visual weight and stability.
The knob's most striking feature is its dual position indicator system - a crisp white line extends from the centre of the domed top surface to the edge, complemented by a small white dot positioned at the base of the skirt. This dual marking system ensures clear position reference from multiple viewing angles, making it particularly suitable for professional audio equipment, guitar amplifiers, and effects pedals where precise control positioning is essential.

Hole Type

Round Hole
A knob designed for a round shaft has a smooth, cylindrical hole that matches the shaft's shape. This type of hole allows the knob to slide easily onto the shaft, relying on a grub screw / set screw or friction to keep it in place. This design is widely used in audio equipment, consumer electronics, and control panels due to its simplicity and versatility
A knob with a round hole can typically also be used on a D type shaft in the 180° position (where the position indicator is opposite to the flat of the D) and can often also be mouned to splined shafts in low torque applications.
