Rubber Soft Grip Vibrant Colour Body Mixer Knobs

A series of soft-grip rotary control knobs. These knobs feature a rubber outer coating for a soft grip and a vivid appearance. They have a flat top and light ridging on the side for an enhanced grip area. A bold position indicator starts on the edge of the top cap and extends down to the skirt at the base. These knobs come with a fixing-insert that can be inserted as required into the knob body to allow fitting in the 0°, 90°, 180° or 270° position, making it suitable for almost all equipment that uses D-shat knobs.

Hole Type

D Shaft Hole

A D-shaft knob features a hole with a D-shaped cross-section, having one flat side and the rest round. This configuration ensures that the knob fits snugly onto the shaft, preventing any slippage and provides absolute psoitoning of the position indicator.

The flat side of the hole aligns with the flattened side of the D-shaft, providing precise control and secure attachment. This type of hole is commonly found in knobs used in audio equipment, industrial controls, and automotive applications.

This type of hole dictates the angle of the position indicator, relative to the flat of the D shape. This is measured in degrees of rotation being either 0°, 90°, 180° or 270°.

Body Diameter

The body diameter is measured at the base of the gripping surface and excludes any non-grippable flange or skirt and also excludes any protruding pinters or tails.

The minimum shaft depth is the minimum amount that the shaft must be inserted into the body of the knob, in order to make suitable contact with the shaft fixing.
