Large Solid Aluminium Control Knob
Large Solid Aluminium Control Knob
This precision-engineered control knob features a distinctive knurled circumference that provides exceptional grip and tactile feedback during operation. The solid aluminium construction ensures durability whilst maintaining a professional appearance suitable for high-end audio equipment, laboratory instruments, and precision machinery.
The knob's flat top surface is marked with a small triangular position indicator, offering clear visual reference for precise control positioning. The circumference features evenly spaced ridges that extend around the entire perimeter, creating an effective gripping surface that performs reliably even with wet or gloved hands. The base tapers slightly inward, giving the knob a refined profile that complements modern equipment designs whilst ensuring comfortable finger placement during adjustment.

Hole Type

Round Hole
A knob designed for a round shaft has a smooth, cylindrical hole that matches the shaft's shape. This type of hole allows the knob to slide easily onto the shaft, relying on a grub screw / set screw or friction to keep it in place. This design is widely used in audio equipment, consumer electronics, and control panels due to its simplicity and versatility
A knob with a round hole can typically also be used on a D type shaft in the 180° position (where the position indicator is opposite to the flat of the D) and can often also be mouned to splined shafts in low torque applications.
