Translucent Colour Domed Top Guitar Knob
Translucent Colour Domed Top Guitar Knob
This distinctive control knob features a translucent construction with a beautifully domed top surface that catches and diffuses light. The circumference is enhanced with fine knurling that provides excellent grip and tactile feedback during operation. The knob's clean, minimalist design is characterised by its absence of position indicators, creating a sleek, uninterrupted profile.
The translucent material allows light to pass through, creating an attractive visual effect that can complement illuminated control panels or add subtle elegance to any audio equipment. The domed top provides a comfortable finger rest, whilst the knurled sides ensure secure grip even during extended use. This knob is particularly well-suited for applications where visual aesthetics are as important as functionality, such as boutique audio equipment, custom guitar amplifiers, or high-end mixing consoles where the smooth, professional appearance enhances the overall design.

Hole Type

Round Hole
A knob designed for a round shaft has a smooth, cylindrical hole that matches the shaft's shape. This type of hole allows the knob to slide easily onto the shaft, relying on a grub screw / set screw or friction to keep it in place. This design is widely used in audio equipment, consumer electronics, and control panels due to its simplicity and versatility
A knob with a round hole can typically also be used on a D type shaft in the 180° position (where the position indicator is opposite to the flat of the D) and can often also be mouned to splined shafts in low torque applications.
