Metal Domed Top Knurled Guitar Knob
Metal Domed Top Knurled Guitar Knob
This distinctive control knob combines a smooth, polished domed top with a precisely knurled circumference for exceptional grip and control. The solid metal construction provides durability and a premium feel, whilst the compact 18mm diameter makes it ideal for guitar applications where space is at a premium.
The knurled surface features fine, evenly-spaced ridges that run vertically around the entire circumference, ensuring reliable grip even with wet or sweaty fingers during performance. The contrasting smooth dome top creates an elegant visual distinction and comfortable finger placement for precise adjustments. This knob is particularly well-suited for vintage-style guitars, boutique amplifiers, and custom builds where both functionality and aesthetic appeal are important.

Hole Type

Round Hole
A knob designed for a round shaft has a smooth, cylindrical hole that matches the shaft's shape. This type of hole allows the knob to slide easily onto the shaft, relying on a grub screw / set screw or friction to keep it in place. This design is widely used in audio equipment, consumer electronics, and control panels due to its simplicity and versatility
A knob with a round hole can typically also be used on a D type shaft in the 180° position (where the position indicator is opposite to the flat of the D) and can often also be mouned to splined shafts in low torque applications.
