Large Skirted Solid Aluminium Control Knob
Large Skirted Solid Aluminium Control Knob
This substantial control knob features a cylindrical aluminium body with pronounced vertical ridges running around its circumference, providing excellent grip and tactile feedback during operation. The flat top surface displays a crisp white triangular position indicator that clearly shows the knob's current setting. What distinguishes this knob is its prominent circular skirt at the base, which extends well beyond the main body diameter, creating both visual impact and enhanced stability.
The precision-machined aluminium construction delivers smooth, consistent rotation with a premium feel that's ideal for professional audio equipment, high-end amplifiers, and precision control applications. The vertical ridging not only enhances grip but also adds to the knob's sophisticated industrial aesthetic. The substantial weight and solid construction provide the tactile feedback that discerning users expect from quality control hardware, making it particularly well-suited for applications where precise adjustment and professional presentation are essential.

Hole Type

Round Hole
A knob designed for a round shaft has a smooth, cylindrical hole that matches the shaft's shape. This type of hole allows the knob to slide easily onto the shaft, relying on a grub screw / set screw or friction to keep it in place. This design is widely used in audio equipment, consumer electronics, and control panels due to its simplicity and versatility
A knob with a round hole can typically also be used on a D type shaft in the 180° position (where the position indicator is opposite to the flat of the D) and can often also be mouned to splined shafts in low torque applications.
