Small Solid Aluminium Control Knob

Small Solid Aluminium Control Knob

This compact control knob features a precision-machined aluminium body with a distinctive knurled circumference that provides exceptional grip and tactile feedback. The flat top surface displays a crisp white arrow position indicator, making it easy to identify the current setting at a glance. The knob's 13mm diameter makes it ideal for applications where space is at a premium whilst still offering comfortable operation.

The knurled texture extends around the entire circumference, creating a series of fine ridges that enhance grip even with wet or oily fingers. This makes it particularly well-suited for professional audio equipment, laboratory instruments, and precision electronic devices where accurate control is essential. The solid aluminium construction ensures durability and provides a premium feel that complements high-quality equipment.

Hole Type

Round Hole

A knob designed for a round shaft has a smooth, cylindrical hole that matches the shaft's shape. This type of hole allows the knob to slide easily onto the shaft, relying on a grub screw / set screw or friction to keep it in place. This design is widely used in audio equipment, consumer electronics, and control panels due to its simplicity and versatility

A knob with a round hole can typically also be used on a D type shaft in the 180° position (where the position indicator is opposite to the flat of the D) and can often also be mouned to splined shafts in low torque applications.
