Small Short Solid Aluminium Control Knob
Small Short Solid Aluminium Control Knob
This compact control knob features a solid aluminium construction with a precisely knurled circumference that provides excellent grip and tactile feedback. The knob's flat top surface is complemented by a crisp white arrow position indicator that stands out clearly against the black anodised finish.
At just 12.6mm in diameter and 11.0mm in height, this knob offers a low-profile solution whilst maintaining comfortable operation. The knurled grip pattern extends around the entire circumference, ensuring reliable control even with wet or oily fingers. The knob is designed for 6mm round shafts with grub screw fixing, making it suitable for audio equipment, test instruments, and precision control applications where space is at a premium but reliable operation is essential.

Hole Type

Round Hole
A knob designed for a round shaft has a smooth, cylindrical hole that matches the shaft's shape. This type of hole allows the knob to slide easily onto the shaft, relying on a grub screw / set screw or friction to keep it in place. This design is widely used in audio equipment, consumer electronics, and control panels due to its simplicity and versatility
A knob with a round hole can typically also be used on a D type shaft in the 180° position (where the position indicator is opposite to the flat of the D) and can often also be mouned to splined shafts in low torque applications.
