Knurled Grip Rotary Control Knob with Dot Position Indicator

Knurled Grip Rotary Control Knob with Dot Position Indicator

This compact rotary control knob features a fully knurled cylindrical body with a deep diamond-pattern texture that covers the entire surface, delivering exceptional grip and tactile confidence during operation. A smooth flat cap sits atop the body, separated by a clean raised collar, with a small dot position indicator set into the cap face for precise and unambiguous control positioning.

The all-over diamond knurl makes this knob particularly well-suited to applications where secure handling is essential, including audio mixing equipment, synthesisers, amplifiers, and instrument control panels. Secured via a grub screw onto a 6mm round shaft, it offers a reliable and play-free fit across a wide range of equipment builds and retrofit projects.

Hole Type

Round Hole

A knob designed for a round shaft has a smooth, cylindrical hole that matches the shaft's shape. This type of hole allows the knob to slide easily onto the shaft, relying on a grub screw / set screw or friction to keep it in place. This design is widely used in audio equipment, consumer electronics, and control panels due to its simplicity and versatility

A knob with a round hole can typically also be used on a D type shaft in the 180° position (where the position indicator is opposite to the flat of the D) and can often also be mouned to splined shafts in low torque applications.
